The major reason for this, is because of its high quality of light and sturdiness as well as the high intensity.

With its double row of LEDs it produces over 1.400 lumen/m for a power consumption of less than 15W.

Due to the double row of LEDs, the cooling requirement is downgraded significantly, which in turn doesn't require to use the double-sided tape, and can therefore simply be shoved into the profile.
